About The Experience
Once a Spanish land-grant dating back to the 1700s, Otero Ranch is where Tubac Golf Resort & Spa stands today. In partnership with True Ranch Collection, the Otero Ranch Pop-Up brings this historic landscape to life through an immersive five-night ranch retreat.
This limited-time experience blends authentic ranch adventures—like horseback riding, archery, hiking, and heritage storytelling—with the comfort, dining, golf, spa, and hospitality of Tubac Golf Resort & Spa. It’s designed for guests who want to slow down, connect with the land, and experience Southern Arizona in a deeper, more meaningful way.
Sample Schedule
On Sunday, we’ll welcome new ranch arrivals (check-in at 2 p.m.) and you’ll have a chance to unwind and settle in for your Otero Pop-Up Ranch adventure. Join us for a Welcome Reception featuring locally inspired cocktails before dinner, followed by a presentation about the history of Otero Ranch and the Tubac Presidio.
Learn More & BookAfter breakfast, join us for a horsemanship and safety demo followed by your first ride in the scenic landscapes surrounding the resort. After lunch, schedule an afternoon round of golf or enjoy another horseback ride. After cocktail hour, we’ll enjoy Southwestern fare for dinner, followed by a tequila tasting.
Learn More & BookStart the day with a ride to a scenic viewpoint where we’ll enjoy breakfast out on the trail After lunch, we’ll take a trip into the artist village of Tubac where you can enjoy shopping local artisans’ creations. Following dinner, we’ll take advantage of Tubac’s dark skies with a stargazing session.
Learn More & BookAfter breakfast, we’ll hit the trail for a half day ride with lunch enjoyed on the trail. When we return to the resort, we’ll offer a local wine tasting or you can practice your aim on our 3D archery course. After dinner, join us for some line dancing lessons.
Learn More & BookFollowing breakfast, choose to take a trip to the historic Tumacácori Mission or take a horseback ride along the Santa Cruz River on the De Anza Trail. Return to the resort for lunch, followed by an afternoon tee time, or a horseback ride. We’ll swap stories during our final cocktail hour and dinner with evening entertainment to close out the night.

DOUBLE OCCUPANCY STARTING AT $2250 per person
SINGLE OCCUPANCY STARTING AT $2625 per person*
ADDITIONAL PERSONS $1750 (available in rooms that can sleep more than two)

Additional Charges: Rates are subject to a 15% ranch service fee and 7.59% tax.
Deposit: We require a 30% deposit of total lodging charges (including tax and service charge) to confirm your stay. The balance of your stay will be due 7 days prior to your arrival (this will be automatically charged to the card on file). For incidentals, please have your payment method ready when you arrive. Any incidentals added during your stay will be processed at check out.
Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation, the deposit, less a 5% cancellation fee, is refundable up to 30 days prior to arrival.
Check-In/Check-Out Times: Check-in time is 2 p.m. or later; check-out is before 11 a.m.
